POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of Access to Care co-manages the day-to-day operation of Cleveland Rape Crisis Center’s 24-hour services to ensure all survivors and co-survivors of sexual violence and human trafficking in CRCC’s service area have immediate, 24/7 access to trauma informed support, education, crisis stabilization, and follow up services. This position leads a team providing 24-hour survivor support services on the crisis hotline, chat, and text line, as well as in-person care in hospitals and police stations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for hiring, training, supervision and performance management of staff in Access to Care
- Responsible for leading staff professional development efforts through training, supervision, and quality assurance
- Establish and monitor performance objectives; complete timely performance evaluations
- Identify and promptly respond to staff debrief needs to mitigate the impact of vicarious trauma
- Ensure that programs and staff achieve set goals
- Hold staff accountable for adhering to CRCC’s policies and procedures
- Co-facilitate regular monthly team meetings with other department Manager/s
- Ensure 24/7 coverage on the crisis hotline, chat, and text line
- Increase client access to services through the coordination of transportation or language access, if needed
- Serve as a member of CRCC’s multi-disciplinary team. Ensure service coordination through timely and effective communication with team members
- Engage in routine quality assurance reviews of services provided
- Monitor documentation to ensure integrity in service delivery
- Serve in weekly supervisor on-call rotation for after-hours team support, provide direct service as needed
- Support the Director of Access to Care in data analysis and program development

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in criminology, psychology, public health administration, or social services
- 3 years of experience in a related field (e.g. advocacy, mental health, crisis intervention)
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Previous experience in the operation of a 24/7 program preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- May consider an equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training to meet the essential functions of the position
SCHEDULE/LOCATION
- In order to meet the needs of survivors of sexual violence and CRCC, this position requires work to be performed at any of CRCC locations and at locations within the community at times when needed
- Work is typically performed primarily remote, but in person as needed/requested
- Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. In addition, the incumbent serves in weekly supervisor on-call rotation for after-hours team support, may be required to work outside of normal working hours/days (e.g. to provide 24/7 hotline coverage), and provide direct service as needed
