Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Physician to join our Orthopaedic Surgery Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background, a demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, and expertise in sports medicine, with a focus on surgical intervention for sports-related injuries. The Sports Medicine Program consists of 10 surgeons, 14 Sports & Exercise Medicine physicians and 9 advanced practice providers. In 2023, the team completed 50,000 E&Ms and 3,300 surgeries. The Sports Medicine Program also provides coverage for 59 high schools, 5 colleges and 2 professional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
? Provide comprehensive and exceptional orthopaedic care to patients with sports-related injuries, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
? Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient outcomes and rehabilitation.
? Participate in research initiatives and clinical trials aimed at advancing the field of orthopaedic sports medicine.
? Contribute to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows through lectures, workshops, and hands-on teaching experiences.

Qualifications:
? Medical degree from an accredited institution.
? Board certification or eligibility in Orthopaedic Surgery.
? Fellowship training in Sports Medicine.
? Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine.
? Active medical license in the state of Ohio or eligibility for licensure.
? Demonstrated proficiency in surgical techniques relevant to sports medicine.
? Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and staff.
