As a Full-time Day-shift Medical Technologist, you will be helping to develop new tests and techniques that will eventually be used in clinical settings to diagnose or determine treatments for patients. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
• Performing and interpreting tests at all complexity levels.
•Determiningthe validity of test results through the monitoring and/or verifying of quality controls, as well as the need for additional tests.
• Communicating test results, reference ranges, specimen requirements, and other pertinent information to authorized sources.

MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST
Education: Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from a four-year college or university. OR Meets the CLIA qualifications for high complexity testing personnel grandfathering clauses. See Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, §493.1489(b)(3), §493.1489(b)(4), §493.1489(b)(5), §493.1491 Standards; High Complexity Testing Personnel Qualifications.
MED LAB TECHNICIAN (MLT)
Education: Associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution. OR Have education and training equivalent to associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution per CLIA qualifications for high complexity testing personnel. See Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, §493.1489(b)(2)(ii) Standard; High Complexity Testing Personnel Qualifications.
