MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST
Education: Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from a four-year college or university. OR Meets the CLIA qualifications for high complexity testing personnel grandfathering clauses. See Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, §493.1489(b)(3), §493.1489(b)(4), §493.1489(b)(5), §493.1491 Standards; High Complexity Testing Personnel Qualifications.
MED LAB TECHNICIAN (MLT)
Education: Associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution. OR Have education and training equivalent to associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution per CLIA qualifications for high complexity testing personnel. See Code of Federal Regulations, Title 42, §493.1489(b)(2)(ii) Standard; High Complexity Testing Personnel Qualifications.
LAB TECHNICIAN IV
Education: Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical or biological science from a four-year college or university is required. OR Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university AND have education and training equivalent to high complexity testing personnel per CLIA.
