Clesen Wholesale is Hiring a Customer Care Specialist Near Evanston, IL

Description

The Customer Care Specialist responsible for growing sales revenue to assigned accounts and promoting our website as the primary method for order placement. This position will support Account Executives for order administration as well as the entire sales department for order changes due to fulfillment issues. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. House Account Support. Primary point of contact for all house accounts. Identify opportunities to upsell and grow revenue to these accounts. 

2. Customer Service. Secondary point of contact for all managed accounts, resolve all inquiries and provide support. Direct point of contact in Northbrook for all pickups during the winter selling season.

3. Order Administration. Enter new orders, email confirmations, modify existing orders, order scheduling, item cuts/substitutions, credit requests and RMA’s.

4. Ecommerce Support. For all customer inquiries. Answer questions, resolve user issues, train new and existing customers to place orders on the web.

5. Lead Pipeline. Log, qualify and onboard leads from website inquires and tradeshows.

6. Administrative Support. Update customer database’s, assist Sales Manager as requested for various tasks and projects. 

7. Analytics and Reports. Enter data as required, generate reports and distribute using agreed upon schedule. 

8. Departmental SOP and BPW. Ensure knowledge of all departmental BPW and SOPs, be able to replicate the desired outcome of all assigned SOPs. Escalate and propose changes when needed to address necessary changes to achieve desired results.

9. Customer Facing Documents. Update Price lists and product guides, weekly availability, welcome packet as needed.

10. Marketing Support. Provide any necessary training or assistance with customer communication, share any transferable knowledge. 

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business or Communications preferred, but not required.

· Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written. 

· Highly organized with exceptional follow through and time management skills.

· Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet objectives.

· Skills in Microsoft Office preferred.

Physical Requirements: Able to bend, stretch, and reach with unrestricted motion. Able to remain on feet for majority of the day. Can lift 20 pounds or more.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
