Clearview Communities is Hiring a Direct Support Professional Near Frederick, MD

Located in Frederick, MD *only*. ClearView Communities, LLC is seeking experienced, energetic, and professional candidates to fill full-time and part-time positions in our residential rehabilitation program in Downtown Frederick, MD.

Recovery Coaches (DSP) will provide direct assistance and recovery advisement to adults experiencing severe and persistent mental illness such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, depressive disorder, anxiety disorder, and addictions. They will assist residents in activities such as employment, volunteering, educational advancement, and their overall recovery.

Mental health, social work, nursing, or healthcare experience required. Bachelors degree preferred but not required. Must have a valid ID and own transportation, however transporting residents in your personal vehicle is not required. COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Full & Part-Time Shift Availability

  • Full-time staff work 40 hours per week (5 shifts/week)
  • Part-time staff work anywhere from 8 to 32 hours per week, regularly scheduled. 8 hours = 1 shift/week. 16 hours = 2 shifts/week. 24 hours = 3 shifts/week. 32 hours = 4 shifts/week

Current Available Shifts (weekends and weekdays available)

  • Day (7:00am - 3:30pm)
  • Evening (3pm - 11:30pm)
  • Awake overnight (11:00pm - 7:30am)

Payroll Practices

  • $19.00/hour to start. Pay is relative to educational background and experience
  • All employees paid bi-weekly via direct deposit
  • Overtime (time and a half) is available but must be pre-approved
  • Overnight shift includes a $1.50/hour shift differential in addition to the regular hourly rate. (Base pay of $20.50/hour)

  • 75% employer paid health insurance through BlueCross BlueShield ($0 deductible medical plan, $25 deductible dental w/ orthodontic coverage, copay-based vision coverage for employees working a regularly scheduled 30 hours/week); less than $84.00 per pay period for full coverage (medical, dental, and vision) for an individual employee
  • 100% employer-paid life insurance (for full-time employees; $70k plan)
  • Generous PTO accrual (8 hours earned per pay week from the start for full-time; partial PTO accrual for part-time; accrual increases throughout employment) with optional annual cash-out; PTO rolls over each year
  • Employee Assistance Program (includes free therapy, free and discounted legal and financial consultation, coupons for online shopping and vacation planning; all employees and their immediate family are eligible)
  • 3% matching Simple IRA retirement plan
  • Annual tuition discounts available at Hood College (up to $15k discounted annually) and Mount Saint Mary's Frederick campus; undergraduate and graduate programs are eligible
  • Holiday pay and overtime (OT) paid at time and a half
