As the Medicare Sales Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in driving team performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and achieving sales targets within the Medicare Sales division. Your responsibilities include leading and managing a sales team of up to 20 Medicare Sales Agents, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure alignment with organizational goals all while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Coaching and Performance Management
Conduct regular coaching sessions with team members to assess individual performance, identify strengths and areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback.
Develop personalized development plans for agents to enhance their sales skills, product knowledge, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis
Monitor individual and team performance metrics, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track progress, identify trends, and measure against sales targets.
Use data analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize performance and achieve sales goals.
Collaboration and Communication
Collaborate with sales management to develop effective sales strategies and facilitate regular team meetings to communicate business initiatives, address knowledge gaps, reinforce sales techniques, and ensure compliance with Medicare regulations.
Communicate regularly with team members to share updates, provide guidance, and foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Regulatory Compliance
Stay up-to-date with Medicare regulations, guidelines, and policies, ensuring that the sales team is fully informed and compliant with all requirements.
Conduct regular training sessions on compliance topics and monitor adherence to regulatory standards.
Leadership and Mentorship
Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to Medicare Sales Agents, fostering a positive and motivating work environment.
Recognize and reward team members for their achievements and contributions to the team's success.
Continuous Improvement
Continuously evaluate and improve coaching and training programs based on feedback, performance data, and industry best practices.
Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales team.
Must currently hold an active Health Insurance License.
3-5 years of experience in a related field
Minimum of 1 year AEP experience
High school diploma or GED
Must be flexible in the hours you are able to work (possibly weekends). Additionally, overtime and weekends may be required throughout the duration of AEP.
Excellent computer software skills including navigating software on multiple monitors (e.g. Word, Excel, Project, and Internet skills).
Reliable with regular and punctual attendance.
Preferred Experience
Experience selling Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement/Medigap.
Experience selling individual and/or senior insurance products via the telephone.
Call center experience.
