Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients of all ages. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals struggling with mental health issues. Duties: - Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans - Diagnose and treat mental health disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia - Prescribe and manage medications for patients - Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, families, and groups - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement holistic treatment plans - Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary - Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation Skills: - Strong knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices - Proficient in medical documentation and electronic health record systems - Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology - Basic life support (BLS) certification - Experience in internal medicine or primary care settings is preferred - Ability to perform procedures such as cardiac catheterization, pain management, IV insertion, and infant care We offer competitive compensation packages and benefits for our employees.
