Your typical schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm . For now, you will work remotely until we open our new office in the Livonia, Novi, or Farmington Hills area.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS OUR ACCOUNTING MANAGER

As our Accounting Manager, you'll be building our accounting and finance department from the ground up. This includes:

• Building the accounting/finance systems & processes, dashboards, reports, etc. from the ground up, and performing all day-to-day accounting/finance operations.

• Bookkeeping, AR/AP, Payroll, Job Costing, Budgeting, Reconciliations, Report Preparation & Review, Tax/Compliance, Insurance, Contract Review & Administration, Compensation Plan Administration, Record Keeping, Cost Control

Here's what we need from you:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics
• 4 years of accounting experience in a managerial role
• A mastery of GAAP, general ledger accounting principles, and financial reporting
• A strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
• Proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity with QuickBooks
