Safety-Kleen **Elgin, IL** is looking for a **Warehouse Lead** to join their safety conscious team! **Our Warehouse Lead is responsible for unloading and loading waste from route trucks, stocking the warehouse, prepping loads for shipment, and assisting with inventory. Additional duties include admin duties such as reports and time logs. Supervising 2-3 team members. As well as operating a forklift and driving trucks within the yard as needed.**

**1st shift, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM**

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;

* Supervise 2-3 warehouse personnel;

* Unload containerized waste and used oil from the route truck;

* Reload route trucks with supplies and equipment for next days runs;

* Stock the warehouse with received materials;

* Order inventory and assist with inventory count at warehouse, using RF scanner;

* Prepare waste loads for shipment;

* Housekeeping in the branch (painting, picking up trash, sweeping, cleaning, straightening);

* Perform minor repairs on parts washers at the warehouse;

* Supervise third party bulk liquid transfers;

* Drive box truck to transfer Hazardous waste;

* Drive box truck to assist with services when needed;

* Other duties as required.

* Supervisory experience preferred;

* 1 to 3 years warehouse experience preferred;

* Proficient computer skills required;

* CDL is preferred or the ability to obtain one;

* Forklift experience preferred;

* HS diploma or GED equivalent required

* Clean valid drivers license;

* Ability to work at heights and outdoors in the elements as needed;

* Well organized with a strong attention to detail;

* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
