Position Summary
As the Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Portfolio Management team with various tasks involved in the implementation of projects. Your primary responsibility will be to track risks, action items, issues, dependencies, and key decisions, and work closely with the project manager to ensure a seamless and efficient project delivery process. Your input and problem-solving skills will be critical in ensuring an excellent business partner experience from a solutions, timing, and accuracy perspective. While working on tasks and activities, you can expect some supervision and guidance from your team. As a valuable team player, your contribution will be instrumental in achieving project success.
About The Team
The VMF Originations Technology team is embarking on a modernization journey of implementing a new Loan Originations system to replace Apps 2.0, our fully custom legacy solution. This new solution will be a long-term effort and will require us to maintain our legacy system, incorporate required compliance standards, and implement limited enhancements. We are also in the process of implementing Salesforce solutions to support CRM activities with portions of our Originations business. In this role, you will work closely with our VMF Originations Apps 2.0 Technology team, Salesforce/Vantage team, and business stakeholders to ensure we are all aligned on ongoing efforts to support our active business needs.
Primary Responsibilities
•Manage communication, meetings, prioritization, training, and testing coordination with the Vantage team for the VMF Originations initiatives
•Manage prioritization, communication, meetings, and coordination with the Originations Stakeholders team for the VMF Originations business as usual support
•Assist in tracking risks, action items, issues, dependencies, and key decisions involved in project implementation.
•Work closely with the Portfolio Lead, Vantage team, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient project delivery process.
•Provide input and problem-solving skills to ensure excellent business partner experiences.
•Contribute as a valuable team player to achieve project success
•Expectation for this role to be in office 75% of the time
Primary Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related discipline, or equivalent technical
and business experience.
•Exposure to project management and group facilitation.
•Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex
problems to achieve goals.
•0-2 years of experience managing technical projects, with a conceptual understanding of project
planning, delivery coordination, and risk management.
•Ability to work closely with business and technology delivery teams to ensure small projects are
delivered with quality, on-time, and within budget constraints.
•Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively
interact with a diverse group of team members, including executives, managers, technology
professionals, and subject matter experts.
•Active Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, or a strong desire to sit
for the certification and a commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
•Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Zoom, Teams, and other office
productivity tools, with the ability to use these tools to effectively communicate project status
and progress to stakeholders.
•Familiarity with Agile Methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, or other methodologies.
