The VDC Manager will be responsible for executing and managing a range of duties related to Building Information Modeling (BIM) and virtual design and construction, supporting workflows from design and preconstruction engineering through project completion. Workflows include resolving engineering and construction issues with digital production tools, developing visualization standards and capability, and creation of standardized content and managing model changes through design updates and as building conditions change.
Specific Responsibilities:

• Assist with digital coordination process and federated model analysis and reporting, perform 4D virtual building and engineering analysis on models and generate virtual reality content from design 3D BIM models.
• Manage model changes through design updates and as-built conditions.
• Conduct Reality Capture activities and data processing.
• Assist with change order and submittal tracking processes.
• Serve as the engineering resource for the entire project team including assisting the preconstruction team with estimating and scheduling and developing the Project Chart of Accounts.

Requirements:

• Requires Bachelors degree (Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field), or foreign equivalent.
• 3 years of relevant work experience.
• 2 years of experience with VDC/BIM related processes.
• 2 years of experience with construction principles practices.
• 2 years of experience with Autodesk Building Design Suite (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
• 2 years of experience with BIM 360 based technology; in the AEC industry.
• 2 years of experience with mid-to-large scale projects.
• Requires up to 80% of time at assigned worksite, including relocation to various unanticipated locations within continental U.S.
• Also requires up to 20% domestic travel.
