Position Summary: The Jailer performs a variety of detention facility safety and security, administrative, and physical custody of duties associated with the booking, monitoring, safeguarding, control, movement, and release inmates. This position also performs a variety of Communications/911 functions related to answering emergency and nonemergency calls for service, administrative phones for the related offices, dispatching law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other non-emergency services.
