Clarus Glassboards is Hiring a Fabrication Technician, 1st shift Near Fort Worth, TX
This position works within the Fabrication Department and is responsible for cutting and polishing glass as well as the operation of the tempering oven.
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 6am-2:30pm
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Properly moving glass from one area of the plant to the other; potentially utilizing the help of overhead crane(s); Lifting and handling glass
- Verify glass dimensions and product specifications
- Scoring glass with CNC cutting table or by hand
- Operate the glass tempering oven
- Responsible for the input of detailed specifications for precise machining
- Responsible for communicating incomplete, damaged, or incorrect work to supervisor
- Ensuring glass meets quality standard through the workflow
- Keeping work area clean and free from debris
- Clean equipment and basic preventative maintenance
