Overview:
Clarkston Pediatric Dentistry provides excellent and compassionate dental care to infants, children, and patients with special needs in a safe, fun, and child-friendly environment. We are searching for a Part-Time dental receptionist/patient coordinator. An ideal candidate will have excellent verbal communication skills, maintain professionalism at all times, and be skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced atmosphere. Active listening and great customer service skills are also a must. Most importantly, you must display a friendly disposition and love working with children. Prior dental receptionist or dental assistant experience is strongly preferred, Eaglesoft software experience preferred.
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Assist with medical records management and administrative tasks
- Verify insurance information and process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using medical office software and systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
