Clarion Events North America is Hiring a Remote Sponsorship Sales Manager

The Sponsorship Sales Manager at InsureTech Connect (ITC) will be a part of a dynamic team dedicated to serving the high-growth insurtech market as they meet annually in Las Vegas at InsureTech Connect (ITC Vegas) and in Miami (ITC LATAM)

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the SVP Head of Global Partnerships by actively selling sponsorships and conducting revenue generating activities on a daily basis.

How you'll make an impact: 

  • Sales and follow through activities for ITC Vegas and ITC LATAM
    • Oversee a book of business comprised of start-ups and entry level sponsors
    • Work closely with SVP Head of Global Partnerships to craft sponsor proposals on broader accounts
    • Stay on top of the pipeline daily by sending out proposals as well as timely / regular follow ups to prospects
  • Responsible for organizing sponsor sales data
    • Work within HubSpot and Salesforce CRMs to capture pertinent deal data
    • Take notes on prospective sponsor calls
    • Move deals along the pipeline to ultimately result in a Closed Won Deal 
  • Contracting
    • Work closely with the Contracting Support Team to turn accepted proposals into contracts, and managing the revisions process with client and Clarion legal as needed
    • Coordinate with Contracting team to follow up with sponsors to chase down signatures 
    • Coordinate with Contracting team to work within Salesforce to create deals, load in contracts, chase approvals, etc. in order to move the deal to Closed Won 
  • Assist with Sponsor Lead Generation  
    • Help coordinate content and outreach campaigns for ITC Vegas and ITC LATAM 
    • Perform top of funnel scraping 
      • Identify top firms 
      • Identify top talent at those firms 
      • Use LinkedIn, Zoom Info and other tools to find contact information for personalized outreach 
  • Oversee Inbound Response Process
    • Support SVP, Head of Global Partnerships with sponsor inbound inquiries that come through the ITC Vegas and ITC LATAM websites 

The skills & experience you'll need:

  • 2 years of sponsorship sales experience in conferences / tradeshow industry
  • Experience using CRM -- HubSpot and Salesforce a plus.
  • Experience working in the technology industry is desired
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Portuguese desirable (not required)
  • Fully remote position (Miami market preferred)
