Clario is Hiring an Import/Export Specialist Near Bristol, PA

The Import/Export Specialist works as part of the Logistics team and is responsible for coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve streamlined customs compliance in a fast paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure commercial invoices and paperwork are properly prepared and shipments are within compliance for country specific regulations.

  • Learn and use various applications and web-based systems to facilitate international shipments.

  • Audit carrier costs and performance.

  • Maintain close cooperation with internal stakeholders regarding necessary planning and communication.

  • Interpret laws, rules and regulations regarding shipping and prepares applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.

  • Maintain logs and compile information on routes, rates and services from various vendors.

  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

  • Trouble-shoot customs delay issues and resolve.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Other related duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED:

Education:

  • BS, BA or equivalent

Experience:

  • Strong coordination and coordination skills and attention to detail.

  • Minimum of two years successfully handling international logistics issues.

  • Ability to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency on a computer and with standard MS Office applications.
