Setting: School Based – 2 Classrooms, about18 students Pre-K – 5^th Grade

We arecurrently looking for a PASSIONATE full time Speech Language Pathologist tofill a summer sessional vacancy. 

Thisposition will guarantee the candidate full time hour, with placementopportunities within the school district, dependent upon performance once theassignment is complete.

The SLPwill be responsible for planning and preparing Elementary studentsindividualized education plans. We are looking for someone who can work wellwith parents and other staff members to help formulate plans that willeffectively diagnose and treat speech delays on the caseload. The SLP will alsobe required to attend Professional Development classes that will be conductedby the school district.

Requirements

·Master'sDegree in Communication Sciences and Disorders

·CFY'sare encouraged to apply and will be considered (supervisor provided)

·Musthave the ability to apply for a SLP license in the state of Illinois; licensereimbursement available.

·Musthold or be eligible to apply for an ASHA certification

·PELcertification required before the beginning of the assignment
