High School Speech-Language Pathologist: 2023-2024 School Year

AnthroMed Education is a local practice dedicated to supporting Speech Language Pathologists in their school-based careers across the Chicagoland area. We are currently seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to support one of our partner schools in Aurora, IL. This role is for a Speech-Language Pathologist who is interested in supporting the High School population of students, 9th through 12th grade.

Position Overview:

• Full-time, Monday-Friday.
• Hours: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
• Provide therapy to High School students, 9th-12th grade.
• Manage a caseload of 50 students.
• Collaborate with other SLPs and Related Service staff in the building.
• Work with parents, guardians, and staff to support the educational growth of students.
• Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings.
• Develop treatment plans, in conjunction with instructional staff, that are strength-based, as well as child and family-centered for overall educational improvement.
• Ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery are aligned with school, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
