JobDuties andResponsibilities :

Asa Bilingual School Psychologist you will play a pivotal role inpromoting the academic social and emotional wellbeing of students.

Your responsibilities willinclude :

• Conductingcomprehensive psychological assessments to identify studentsstrengths and areas forgrowth.
• Collaboratingwith educators parents and other professionals to developindividualized education plans (IEPs) andinterventions.
• Providingcounseling and therapeutic interventions to support students mentalhealthneeds.
• Participatingin multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress anddevelop interventionstrategies.
• Supportingthe implementation of positive behavior support plans and crisisinterventionstrategies.
• Advocatingfor the diverse needs of students and promoting inclusivity withinthe schoolcommunity.
• Providingconsultation and training to school staff on topics related topsychology and childdevelopment.

Requirements

Toexcel in this role candidates should meet the followingqualifications :

• Mastersor doctoral degree in School Psychology or a relatedfield.
• Statecertification or licensure as a School Psychologist inIllinois.
• Bilingualproficiency in English andSpanish.
• Experienceworking with culturally and linguistically diversepopulations.
• Strongassessment and intervention skills with a focus on evidencebasedpractices.
• Abilityto collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinaryteam.
• Commitmentto ongoing professional development andgrowth.
