Part-time Description Headquartered in Lakeshore Center in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, Claremont Companies is a privately owned and closely held real estate investment, development and asset management firm. Today, Claremont owns in excess of 60 real estate assets consisting of hotels, apartments, retail centers, and office buildings with plans to expand even further. Claremont is growing and we're looking to add a Part-Time Banquet Houseperson to our team at the AC Hotel in Worcester, MA. This role is responsible for the set-up and breakdown of event spaces while ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the event spaces before, during and after functions and we would love to add you to our team! Responsibilities:
Efficient and correct set up of tables, chairs, platforms/stages, and other equipment as specified by group requirements
Adherence to all applicable brand standards
Check and adjust lighting as needed
Check electrical connections or proper working order and tape down exposed cords
Assist with banquet AV
Pick up and deliver boxes/materials for events as needed
Service and refresh function rooms during breaks
Break down of tables, chairs, platforms/stages and return in good /clean condition to storage areas
Keep function and equipment storage clean and in good working condition
Assist servers with setting and clearing of banquet tables, stocking service stations, and assist with buffet /coffee break/table service to ensure total guest satisfaction
Safely deliver carts of soiled dishes/glassware/flatware to kitchen for washing
Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all events including silver, linen and condiments
Transport all needed service materials and props to banquet/function rooms and storage
Other related duties as assigned

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to solve problems
Previous server experience preferred
Ability to operate point-of-sale system
Ability to work quickly and efficiently
Organizational and time management skills
Ability to work with a team
Ability to maintain personal hygiene
Must be able to lift, balance and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds
Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
