Position Overview
Responsible for the operation of transit buses to carry passengers to various destinations within the service area in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Transit operators provide critical services to the community, supporting the mission to enhance quality of life, bolster mobility, and create opportunities through transit.
Compensation & Benefits
Wage is $27.08 per hour. Benefits include only those mandated by federal and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
Current and valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement and airbrake.
Current and valid U.S. Department of Transportation Medical Certificate.
Working Conditions
Position is not union represented and is eligible for overtime. This is a safety-sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with CTS policy and federal regulations.
