Description

The Civic Center Foundation is seeking Server(s) to join their event staff and play a critical role in customer service to its patrons. The Server(s) will report to the Food and Beverage Manager. This position will deliver food orders, giving excellent 5-star service and ensuring a great dining experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Pre-shift prep of sauces and bussing materials
• Assist bartenders with setup, garnish slicing and other non-alcohol related duties.
• Delivering food from the kitchen once any guest has checked in and the food is prepared by the kitchen staff
• Treat guests with respect and make sure they have everything they need to enjoy their meal.
• The food server must be able to assist guests with questions about the ingredients of the dishes as per the server guide.
• Assist with picking up trash from the tables and be able to have a clean space for others to sit as well.
• Closing duties that include cleaning tables and cleaning your area of the kitchen.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16.
• Must be able to quickly climb multiple sets of stairs each shift.
• Must be able to properly lift up to 25 lbs unassisted, without risk of injury.
• Must be able to work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Well adept at using computers and cell phone applications.
• Dependable - more reliable than spontaneous
