IDEAL CANDIDATES
We are seeking passionate, service-oriented, positive and hard-working individuals with a love for health and wellness, and an excitement for hospitality.
As an Outdoor Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
· Leading groups of up to 8 on daily instructional mountain biking outings ranging from beginner to advanced varying from 2-15 miles in 2 hours.
· Leading & tail groups of up to 20 on daily hiking activities ranging from easy to very difficult and in the range of 3-12 miles, with elevation from 200-1500ft while carrying up to a 35lb pack.
· Staffing outdoor guides to meet requirements of master program schedule, private outdoor bookings and group outdoor bookings.
· Maintain the inventory and cleanliness of outdoor equipment and guest supplies.
· Schedule transportation van usage and coordinate with appropriate teams for cleanings and maintenance.
· Provide outdoor specific training and onboarding, ensuring programs are being executed to brand and safety standards.
· Ensure permits are in place and paid and paid.
· Ensure third party invoices are reviewed, approved, and submitted for payment.
· Ensure record keeping is accurate for park permits and third party contracts.
· Assist with MOD coverage for the programs team when needed.
· Ensure attendance trackers are accurate for outdoor team.
Requirements
• 1 previous professional/educational experience as an Outdoor Adventure guide or educator.
• 2 years professional/personal experience hiking and mountain biking.
• 2 years’ experience in facilitation of high/low ropes elements preferred OR 2 years climbing experience.
• Wilderness First Aid or First Responder Certification required, CPR/1st Aid training required.
• Previous hotel/resort experience preferred
• Willing and able to work all shifts including weekends/holidays
• Must have reliable transportation
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Knowledge/passion in Health & Wellness
