JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, a Minorityand Women Owned Business Enterprise Analyst monitors, analyzes and reportson contracts awarded through the City of Arlington’s Office of BusinessDiversity Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Solicits, receives, compiles, and maintains appropriate MWBE Program-related information.
• Inputs vendor, contractual and bidding-related data into electronic tracking systems; maintains and recalls data stored in electronic tracking systems.
• Reviews and analyzes multiple sources of information such as contracts, vendor-supplied information, and related documentation for compliance with policies, procedures, laws, regulations, contractual terms, etc.
• Prepares and distributes data reports on a regular basis and as requested.
  Investigates possible instances of vendor non-compliance.
• Prepares and distributes written correspondence related to compliance matters including, but not limited to, instances of non-compliance and findings of investigations.
• Identifies and documents changes to MWBE requirements in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, etc.
  Assists in the design and/or review of requests for proposals, vendor bids and contracts.
• Attends and assists in the administration of pre-bid, pre-solicitation, and post-award conferences.
• Assists in the preparation and submission of MWBE reports.
• Researches and notifies vendors of pending expiration of MWBE certification.
• Research and tracks diversity-related trends in areas of business such as construction, procurement, employment, design, goods and services.
• Conducts site visits and interviews vendors as needed.
• May serve as a liaison to a variety of constituents including, but not limited to, internal departments, vendors, governmental representatives, community groups, business associations and auditors.
