Overview of Your Responsibilities

General Operations

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of multi-unit operations across designated City Winery locations
  • Ensure successful execution of all shows, events, F&B service, and daily activity at designated locations.
  • Review and analyze business trends to continually improve operations.
  • Help create, drive, and execute company initiatives.
  • Teach and adhere to City Winery principles and commitment to quality.
  • Lead by example and enforce Company policies consistently.
  • Ensure controls are in place to prevent waste and theft.
  • Establish goals, anticipate and resolve problems, and ensure high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Partner with internal Company divisions to achieve overall company goals.
  • Conduct routine audits and inspections of assigned locations.
  • Oversee maintenance of facilities and equipment.
  • Lead departments on menu pricing and marketing initiatives.
  • Work alongside the National Executive Chef to maintain kitchen operations.
  • Operate in full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Empowering Talent

  • Cultivate a culture of growth, mentorship, and accountability.
  • Lead recruitment, training, evaluation, and advancement initiatives.
  • Set clear goals and expectations, providing ongoing support and guidance.
  • Foster a culture of celebration and recognition.
  • Conduct disciplinary actions as needed, in partnership with HR.

Financial Management

  • Maintain, monitor, and strive to exceed P&L goals.
  • Provide budgeting guidelines and monitor financial performance.
  • Ensure purchases meet budgetary goals and review product/item costs.
  • Supervise, train, and monitor management staff to ensure budget control.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in multi-unit operation, high volume restaurant(s), venue(s), or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in alcoholic beverage service.
  • Demonstrated results creating a high-performance workplace.
  • Proven financial and business acumen.
  • High integrity, work ethic, and passion for hospitality.
  • Ability to multitask, delegate, and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior knowledge of P&L and strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong execution skills.
  • Functional knowledge of health department and related regulations.
  • Strong culinary and wine knowledge.
  • Proficient computer and technological skills.
  • Able to perform physical requirements of position.
  • Able and willing to work flexible scheduling and travel as needed.
