City Wide Property Services, Inc. currently has an opening for a Shop Assistant to join our expanding team! For over two decades, City Wide has been a trusted partner for ownership, and property & facility managers throughout the Western United States including California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, and Texas, providing commercial properties with first-class maintenance and service repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to keep trucks and company vehicles clean and orderly
• Moving vehicles as needed to different locations in the shop
• Cleaning the interiors and exteriors of vehicles as well as washing
• Driving vehicle to fuel
• Reporting any damages to Fleet Manager
• Cleaning the Corporate Shop parking lot, including picking up trash
• Starting vehicles regularly and making sure there aren’t any issues with them
• Time-management and multitasking skills to handle multiple vehicle requests on busy days

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience operating a full-size truck with attached trailer
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safe driving
• Attention to detail to keep track of all vehicles
• Willingness to take responsibility for high-value vehicles
• Ability to walk, kneel, climb, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, push, pull and any other related physical activity necessary in performing maintenance work.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 30 pounds
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
• Clean and neat appearance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
