About City on a Hill (CoaH)City on a Hill Charter Public School graduates college-ready students that are responsible, resourceful and respectful democratic citizens, who are prepared to compete in 21st century community, culture and commerce. We are currently seeking a part-time (4-5 hours per week) Occupational Therapist to work with a caseload of six (6) students in grades 9-12. The hours on site are flexible, however they must be during our regular school schedule: M 8:55am - 2:52pm, T-Th 8:00 - 2:52pm, F 8:00am - 1:20pm. 

This is for an immediate opening with a contract through June 2024. Potential to continue for the 2024-2025 school year based on student need. 

Responsibilities Include: 

• Provide direct services to students in a confidential and secure location
• Provide consult services to students; meet and communicate with students’ families and other service providers and teachers
• Collaborate with the Director of Specialized Services and the Specialized Services Coordinator to establish a schedule for OT services and administrative responsibilities 
• Plan activities for during direct service sessions and take notes regarding held sessions
• Assess students who are due for reevaluation IEP meetings. Assess students as needed by request for initial evaluation.
• Document service minutes and other information needed for Medicaid Billing purposes.

Qualifications: 

• A belief that all students can and must learn at high levels and a commitment your own continued learning, particularly as it relates to City on a Hill’s journey to operating as an anti-racist school;
•  A Bachelor's Degree in a related field; and
• A minimum of 1 year of related experience providing OT
