Our reputable client is seeking a Director of Finance to join the company. As part of the management team, the director of finance must have strong leadership, management, technology, analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills. Major responsibilities

- Manage the composition of financial outlooks and financial forecasts

- Decide on benchmarks for comparing the operating and financial performance

- Perform financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions

- Review and maintain budgeting and forecasting models

- Supervise all operations of the finance and accounting department

- Implement and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the departments goals and objectives

- Manage the operating procedures of the department, including short- and long-range goals, objectives, and policies- Oversee all hiring aspects of finance staff, including training and retention

- Direct, review, and prepare financial planning and budget management functions

- Analyze monthly operating performance against budget

- Supervise all financial reporting preparation

- Create and manage five-year business plans along with department managers

- Take ownership of insurance and risk management

- Comply with all budgetary reporting requirements, including local, state, and federal
