SUMMARY
Incumbents are responsible for providing complex and confidential support to the City Attorney. Incumbents exercise a high degree of independence, initiative, and professional expertise in office management requiring discretion in matters of significance. The primary duties and responsibilities involve providing administrative support to the attorneys and higher-level staff within the City Attorney's Office.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree in a related field and five years of responsible clerical experience supporting senior and/or executive managers; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
