This position is only for the summer season. The position will only be active from May 28-July 3, with a weekly maximum of 30 hours for instructors.

Duties include:

• instructing music daily through different activities
• developing and producing music pieces for campers
• coordinating and assisting with the production of the weekly culminating show
• always ensuring the safety of all participants
• interacting positively with and establishing productive relationships with staff, camp participants, parents, and guardians
• coordinating and assisting with the production of the weekly culminating show
• implementing disciplinary procedures for students when necessary
• recording daily attendance for all classes
• maintaining a clean work environment
• maintaining equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Arts degree in Music; or a minimum of three (3) years of experience in music from either vocals, woodwind/brass/string instrument, composition, music theory
• 1 year of experience working with children ages 5-12 (paid or volunteer)
