ABOUT OUR JOB
This position's purpose is to provide training in areas of firefighting, emergency preparedness, equipment operation, forestry, parks, and public education. This position will provide training to enhance the job skills and employment opportunities for qualified veterans. Funding for this position is provided by a grant from the Bureau of Land Management. The maximum number of hours an employee can work in a calendar year is 1,560. Employment is conditional upon the availability of BLM funds and the availability of current assignments.
