Provides program management to complex programs such as TWEENS/TEENS, provides volunteer coordination, training to other division staff members, and serves as supervisor in the absence or Outdoor Recreation Manager.

Assists in the development of curriculum for new classes and events, and evaluates cost recovery for existing events. Demonstrates and/or possesses extensive knowledge of wilderness medicine, endurance sports, rock climbing, whitewater, backpacking and Nordic skiing, including instructional foundations and advanced practice. Demonstrates and/or possesses an in-depth understanding of all aspects of Outdoor Recreation Division programming, and serves as point of contact for large swaths of program/event participants.
