OIT is looking for a talented and motivated team player who welcomes challenges and takes pride in making a positive impact in the field of Public Safety and Technology in the sixth-largest city in the United States while enjoying the flexible work schedule, competitive benefits, and vibrant life in the City of Brotherly Love.Essential FunctionsThe Systems Engineer will be responsible for mission-critical cross-platform technologies, which include data storage, backup disaster recovery, active directory administration, network security, SAN administration, planning, architectural planning and design, server management and engineering, and other related infrastructure needs. This role is crucial within the Philadelphia Fire Department's IT infrastructure, thus sound technical knowledge of the subject area as well as consistent reliability is required.
