City of O'Fallon, IL is Hiring an Engineering Intern Near Fallon, IL
- Drafting, onsite as-built documentation, design coordination with outside design consultants, field data collection and testing, and recommending corrective actions (including justification);
- Comply with all applicable company, state, and Federal legal codes, policies, and regulation;
- Provide timely, clear, concise communication to management, customers, partners, and team members about work status and impact;
- Using appropriate communication means and documentation to inform customers, partners, and support groups.
- Currently pursuing a BS/BA degree from an accredited 4-year university in civil engineering, construction management, or related field (or recent graduate);
- Must possess a valid US driver's license;
- Demonstrated/proven strong leadership, technical and interpersonal skills;
- Must be able to work effectively with others;
- Self-starter with demonstrated initiative - able to handle multiple tasks and priorities;
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office skills (esp. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook);
- Working knowledge of AutoCad, GIS, and other tools of the trade;
- Availability to work various shifts commensurate with project requirements;
- Demonstrate the ability to express ideas and information in a clear concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
- Regular attendance.
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, and other unpleasant outdoor conditions.
