City of Newton, IA is Hiring a Seasonal Maytag Pool Supervisor (Open Positions: 1) Near Newton, IA

Under the direct supervision of the Certified Pool Operator and Community Development Director, the Pool Supervisor position is a 13 week 40 hours per week seasonal position within the Parks & Recreation Division. Work involves enforcement of all pre-established policies, regulations and procedures related to the Maytag Pool. The position requires quick response to all rescue and emergency situations, and educates pool patrons on the importance of positive and correct water safety practices. Supervisory skills to manage the lifeguards and Pool Deck Shift Leaders are required. The position requires all skills needed to assure the pool, pool deck, and lifeguard operations at Maytag Pool are run in a professional and safe manner.
