The Property Manager-Real Estate is responsible for the property management of City-owned and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee (RACM)-owned properties and supporting efforts to market City-owned properties for sale.

1. A Bachelor’s degree in real estate, urban planning, architecture, business administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university AND two years of progressively responsible experience in residential property management and/or real estate sales.
OR
Six years of progressively responsible, professional work experience in residential property management and/or real estate sales.
2. Valid driver’s license and the availability of a properly-insured personal vehicle for use on the job at the time of appointment and throughout employment. Automobile allowance is provided pursuant to Section 350-183 of the Milwaukee Code.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

The current salary range (Pay Range 2JN) is $80,774-$92,612 annually, and the resident incentive salary for City of Milwaukee residents is $83,197-$95,390. Appointment above the minimum is possible based upon level of experience and other qualifications and is subject to approval.

THE SELECTION PROCESS will be job related and will consist of one or more of the following: an evaluation of education, experience and/or responses to supplemental questions; a written or performance test, a structured interview, or other assessment methods.
