The UX Content Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing the online experience for the residents and visitors of Midland. This role involves curating, optimizing, and managing content for the city’s official website and Intranet. The Specialist ensures that content is user-friendly, up-to-date, and aligns with the city’s communication goals and branding. Collaborating closely with various city departments, the incumbent will be responsible for making information accessible, ensuring content consistency, and adhering to UX best practices.

· Manage and update content on the city’s website and Intranet, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

· Collaborate with various city departments to gather, edit, and publish information.

· Ensure the website's content is accessible, user-friendly, and aligns with the city's branding guidelines.

· Conduct periodic content audits to identify areas of improvement.

· Work closely with the programmers to optimize web pages for usability and consistency.

· Monitor web analytics to understand user behavior and adjust content strategies accordingly.
