Work involves responsibility for enforcement of local and State fire safety codes, laws, and ordinances; conducts annual inspections of buildings and premises to ensure compliance with fire prevention standards; ensures new buildings and businesses are in compliance with code requirements for fire and life safety; maintains effective working relationships with City staff, citizens, and other organizations and agencies.
