The Public Service Crew Leader performs difficult skilled and technical work leading and participating in construction, maintenance and repair of public infrastructures and facilities in the Street Department, or coordinating and participating in the collection and disposal of solid waste throughout the City.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Class B Commercial driver’s license and good driving record;
• Graduation from high school or GED; and
• Considerable experience in common and unusual work situations and problems of the occupational field with demonstrable skills equivalent to an experienced Serviceworker III or Equipment Operator III.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Work Schedule
4-day rotating work week.
Shift 1-Monday through Thursday, Shift 2-Tuesday through Friday and back to Shift 1.
Work days are 6am-4:30pm. Paid bi-weekly.

On-call and occasional overtime
