Starting salary for FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC, $62,315 FSLA $6,000 benefits
LATERAL STARTING PAY PROGRAM for Firefighter/Paramedic, up to $70,096
Starting salary for PARAMEDIC only, $50,985 $FSLA $4,900 benefits – (Annual salary will increase to $62,315 after completing firefighter training) benefits
48/96-hour work schedule.
BENEFITS INCLUDE: Medical, dental, vision and life insurance provided by the city for the employee. Certification pay, FLSA OT, 13 Paid Holidays, Vacation, Longevity pay, TMRS with a City match of 2:1
Applicants possessing one (1) of the following sets of credentials are eligible to apply:
1. Texas Commission on Fire Protection Certified Firefighter and National Registry or Texas Department of State Health Services Paramedic, or
2. National Registry and/or Texas Department of Health Paramedic certification.
