Physical: Ability to work in extreme weather conditions; lift, carry, push and pull up to 100 pounds stand for extended periods; and operate backhoes, loaders, bobcat and dump truck.

Mental: Ability to be on call 24 hours a day for emergency purposes; follow directions; communicate effectively both orally and in writing; and organize equipment requirement necessary for daily jobs.
Requires a high school diploma and one year experience in construction and equipment maintenance and repair.

Must have Missouri CDL Class A or B with air brakes and tank endorsement within 6 months of hire.

Specific job title and salary depend upon qualifications. Minimum starting salary for a Trainee is $16.06 per hour and maximum salary for a Senior Street Maintenance Worker is $26.56 per hour.

This position is eligible for GI Bill benefits upon approval of the VA.
