City of Grants Pass is Hiring an Associate Planner (Land Use) Near Grants Pass, OR

Join the Community Development team as an Associate Planner!
The Associate Planner is responsible for management of land development proposals, research and writing of staff reports, drafting ordinances and resolutions, making presentations, interpreting policies and codes, and conducting design review. Our ideal candidate will be a dedicated team player with strong customer service and writing skills.
 
To meet the qualifications an applicant will have a Bachelor's Degree in City and/or Regional Planning or a related field and two years of government related land use planning experience.

The initial selection process for this position includes the following steps: application review and oral interview. The final selection process following interview includes the following steps: tentative offer, criminal history check, background/reference check, drug screening and final offer of employment.
