Position: Fiscal Specialist I
Department: Community Development
Reports To: Fiscal Manager
Brief Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Fiscal Specialist I is responsible for performing daily financial and budget functions for the department. In addition to routine budget and financial reporting duties, the Fiscal Specialist I also provides financial and budgetary forecasts, prepares, reviews, and monitors grants, contracts, claims and other fiscal agreements and proposals, interacts with staff in order to maintain accurate and updated fiscal recordkeeping and performs related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field, and two (2) years of professional budget experience; or a combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to one of the employment standards listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
Salary: $37,530.00/annually
