City of Fayetteville is Hiring a Marketing Specialist Near NC 28306, NC

- Participate in the development and implementation of a comprehensive marketing program aimed at increasing Airport awareness to all FAY customers.
- Implements the Airport's social media strategy and activities.
- Maintain/modify FAY Website and social media sites as necessary.
- Coordinates third party administration approval of terminal advertising programs.
- Coordinate both internal and external events such as, ribbon cutting, inaugural flight events, employee retirement/departure receptions, and other public relations events.
- Establish and maintain business and media contact and relationships.
- Assists with TV, radio and other advertising campaigns.
- Monitor and analyze airport customer survey results. May conduct marketing research or develop additional marketing surveys.
- Provide photography support for Airport promotional purposes.
- Coordinate inventory of promotional items.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience:
Two years of marketing or public relations experience.
Training:
Equivalent to an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism or a related field.

From the time of closing, the selection process is anticipated to last 4 - 6 weeks. The process will consist of a panel interview and exercise with the selected candidate being subject to a pre-employment drug screen, background check, 10 year criminal history records check in accordance with the Transportation Security Administration and driving history check.
