The City of Commerce City is seeking a Building Inspector I to join our team.
The successful candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of building trades, laws, practices, and procedures, and will be responsible for performing inspections of new construction sites, alterations, and additions to existing industrial, commercial, and residential owned buildings to ensure safe changes in occupancy of existing structures that comply with state building codes. The Building Inspector I will report any violations deemed necessary and work under the direction and alongside higher level Building Inspectors.
