PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for Heavy Equipment Operators for our client in Charleston. We would love to hire you for this full-time position TODAY!

Please note the pay rate for this role is $20 - $26 p/hr

Responsibilities:

• Laying storm drains, repairing existing infrastructure
• Heavy equipment operation (as it relates to dirt and land prep, not waste/recycling)
• Will be reading blueprints
• Performs as above, and can act in place of the Superintendent for short periods of time and is a fine grade motor operator
• All of the above, and is capable of running small jobs
• Can run large jobs when Superintendent is absent and is working towards a Foreman position

Qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years of age and able to provide work authorization documents
• Must be local to Charleston area
• 5 years of Heavy Equipment Operating Experience (like Track hoe, Dozer, Back Hoe, Motor Grader, etc.)
• Proficient at finishing work to grade
• Experience operating other pieces of equipment such as backhoe, excavator, and front end loader
