Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment used in the installation of storm drains, sewer pipes, culverts, & grading roadways in land development and civil repair projects.

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain equipment such as dozers, motor graders, frontend loaders, backhoes, trackhoes, excavators, etc.
- Perform tasks including digging, building, and grading as required
- Ensure equipment is operated safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on the job site

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in equipment operation, particularly with dozers, motor graders, frontend loaders, backhoes, trackhoes, excavators, etc.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment
- Proficiency in commercial driving for transporting equipment to different job sites
- Ability to operate heavy machinery with precision and care
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and protocols related to equipment operation

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
