CITY OF BUNNELL is Hiring an Assistant Project Manager Near Bunnell, FL

The City Commission desires candidates who are visionary, innovative and team oriented in their approach, and
able to employ a style that engenders mutual trust and openness with community Partners and Stake holders.
This is an entry level, yet highly responsible professional, technical and administrative work of considerable
difficulty researching, developing, and monitoring grants and infrastructure projects. The employee will work under
close supervision of the Project Manager.

Duties: Request a copy of job description for full list of Duties

  • Accurately complete administrative forms and reports in a timely fashion, for Utility/Grants projects.
  • Adheres to all rules, regulations, and procedures necessary to maintain required licenses,
certificates, and/or registrations and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Help prepare Project Manager for meetings/workshops/seminars and participate in discussion, as
needed.
  • Carry out job functions with or without supervision.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Work courteously and tactfully when dealing with others.
  • Works in coordination with others and other Departments.
  • Work under pressure.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Maintain Project Managers calendar, calls attention to appointments, and makes appointments
upon instruction.
  • Follows up on work in process.
  • Retrieve documents, files, and background information for the Project Manager based on general

instructions as to the nature of the subject matter.

  • Skill in prioritizing competing demands to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of office management practices.
  • Ability to learn departmental rules, regulations, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to prepare routine documents and compose business letters and memoranda
  • Ability to make decisions in accordance with laws, regulations, or policies and to apply these to
work problems.
  • Ability to make minor office decisions to relieve the schedule of director
Educational Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED supplemented by at least 4 years of high-level administrative support
experience
Professional Licenses:
  • Must possess a valid Florida Class E Driver’s License
Candidates are requested to complete City Employment Application (copies available at the Bunnell
Customer Service Office 604 E. Moody Blvd Unit 6 or on the city website at www.bunnellcity.us). The

Pay: $20.15 - $27.02 D.O.E.
