City Of Brooklyn Park is Hiring a Police Cadet Intern Near Brooklyn, MN

The objective of the Police Cadet Intern Program is to successfully prepare qualified candidates for future police officer positions. This is not a traditional cadet position, but a paid police cadet internship opportunity.
Cadet interns will work approximately 12-24 hours per month to accommodate their work and school schedules. This program is geared towards students who are are attending school full-time for law enforcement and will be promoted to police officers at Brooklyn Park Police Department once eligible.
In addition to hourly compensation, the Department assists the cadet intern by providing tuition reimbursement of $12.50 per hour worked, up to 24 hours per month, or up to $3,600 per year.
Cadet interns are paired with a police officer mentor, where they are oriented to the Department's mission, policies, procedures, equipment, and methods of providing law enforcement services.
